3 Must-Do Steps to a Happier & Healthier Weight Loss

Losing weight and maintaining the fat loss requires some simple lifestyle adjustments. As long as you keep your adjustments within a reasonable reach, you should be able to lose fat and keep it off without much restraints to your daily life.

This may be counterintuitive but losing weight does not have to require extended trips to the gym or engagement in some fad diet. Here are easy steps to a healthier day that can help you slim down on...

Exercise Daily

Moving everyday can make a difference in your body shape and in the way your body processes food and emotions. When you exercise, you work your body and mind. You are building your muscle mass, which will increase the effectiveness of your metabolism.

Also, you encourage your heart to pump blood throughout your body more effectively, which means that you will have reduced risk of heart disease. You reduce fat deposits, which helps reduce your risk of many health issues, such as diabetes. It also enable you to increase the amount of endorphins that flow through your body, which helps relieve pain and induce feelings of pleasure, you will feel an increase in your positive attitude.

It does not require a large amount of time to receive all of the above benefit. Actually a few minutes of exercise everyday will help tremendously. Consistency is the most important factor as of exercise. Working out can means taking a mile walk at a good pace, lifting weights, dancing, swimming, gardening, riding a bicycle and a lot more. Whatever the workout is, keep in mind that it should elevate your heart above it resting heart rate and your breath slightly heavier than normal.

Vary the pleasure (or the pain), break a sweat or challenge your muscles.

Enjoy all food in moderation

Losing weight or maintain your lost weight, it is important you allow yourself to eat all foods, but eat the unhealthy ones in moderation. The primary reason for many diets to fail is that people restrict the foods that they allow themselves to eat and they feel anxious. When you allow yourself to give into simple cravings, you are rewarding yourself and making it less tempted to crave bigger portions of the unhealthy foods.

Eating smaller portions will help your stomach adjust to consuming less food. Make sure you also drink plenty of water. (We’ll give few example of naturally flavoured water in a following post).

Try to have a good portion of lean protein in each meal/snack, to help you feel full.

Get a buddy involved

Having a buddy with you along the process increases your chances of maintaining a clean eating regimen, exercise routine, and/or long-term weight loss. Buddies are great motivators. They will help you keep up to your healthier habits and help you feel accountable throughout the workout plan by encouraging you to report your progress as they do the same.

Sharing your successes will not only help you stay motivated but will also help make everyone around you in a positive mood.
