Outdoor Discovery: Mont Kaaïkop Trail

The end of summer is soon approaching, but it is not over yet! A great way to enjoy the sun, as well as complementing your training, is to go hiking. 

This week, we are introducing: Mont Kaaikop Trail.

Location: Sainte-Lucie-des-Laurentides, the Laurentians, Quebec.

Trail Network of 40 km

Difficulty levels: Easy to very difficult

Rates: 5$ for adults & 3$ for children

GPS: 3565 Chemin du Lac-Legault, QC, J0T 2J0

Reception: The reception is done directly at the office of L'intervalle, coopérative de solidarité de plein air

Special features: Possibility of doing a variety of activities during all 4 seasons (swimming, canoeing, kayaking, beach volleyball, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing)

Accomodation directly on the site (ecogite, cabin, cottage, camping)

Dogs allowed

My opinion:

The trails are particularly well landscaped, respecting nature. The indications are very clear, hence, you don't have to worry about going out of trail. In addition, there are cues to let you know when you are at the first, second and third quarters of your hike!
